Site Description: This site is located on Cladrastis Ave, in front of the Dalyrmple Boathouse in Roger Williams Park. It is classified as an infiltration basin, which is a low grassy depression that collects stormwater during rain events. Stormwater enters the site through a break in the curb that allows water to flow through the sidewalk and into the basin. Inside the basin, the soil and grass act as a filtering mechanism to remove pollutants from the stormwater. When the basin reaches full capacity, excess stormwater drains through an overflow structure. The captured stormwater should absorb into the soil within 24-48 hours after a rainstorm.

Photo-Video Tips: Stand near the break in the curb to capture video of stormwater flowing through the opening and into the basin. Also, capture video of the stormwater accumulating in the basin and draining properly.
